Our initiatives
Solving systemic problems requires sustained, structured effort. Our subcommittees translate the BMC's mission into concrete outputs — standards, guidance, education, and advocacy — developed collaboratively by the people closest to the work.
Active
Quality, Policy and Standards (QPS) Subcommittee
Driving the development of standards and best practices, and laying the foundation for engaging with regulatory authorities. Co-chaired by Anna Kosenko (BioNTech) and Jamie Voyten (UPMC Hillman Cancer Center).
Forming
Education and Outreach Subcommittee
Raising awareness of biospecimen management's critical role across the clinical research community through webinars, conference panels, publications, and patient education. Open to members from all stakeholder groups.
